Detailed Description

Versioned resident cache policy.

Set struct_size = sizeof(pf_cache_policy_v1) and version = 1; both reserved words and every entry's reserved word must be zero. Nonzero reserved words fail with setting_rejected, input="cache_policy", reason="unparseable_value". The caller owns this descriptor and its entries; the setter copies their values before returning and retains neither pointer. entry_count is a uint64_t count; entries may be NULL only when it is zero. Each successful replacement starts from internal defaults, then applies the entries. Omitted kinds use defaults; duplicate and unknown kinds fail. No entry limits logical records, retained history or backing extent.
